Cape Town City will have key defensive duo Thami Mkhize and Abbubaker Mobara available for Sunday’s DStv Premiership clash at home to Bloemfontein Celtic.
The pair were withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad that recently completed back-to-back wins over Sao Tome e Principe after testing positive for Covid-19.
But they are now back in training and barring any fresh problems, will be ready to face Celtic at the weekend.
Right-back Mkhize is the club captain and a real weapon on attack for City, while the versatile Mobara has made a fine start to the campaign at centre-back, which led to his call to the national side.
Meanwhile, Thabo Nodada has returned unscathed from national duty with Bafana, though he did not play in either of the two matches.
City have made a so-so start to the new campaign, an unlucky quarterfinal exit to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 has been followed by four points from a possible nine in the league, though their form has been better than those results suggest.
