Khutso Mothibi received life sentence for raping a 21 year old woman

LIMPOPO- The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has welcomed the life sentence handed down by the Polokwane Regional Court, to Phahlamohlake Kutso Mothibi aged 26 for raping a 21-year-old woman during 2017.

The case was assigned to Detective Sergeant Phakiso Sandra Gololo of the Saps Lebowakgomo Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit. The investigating officer worked tirelessly by following all the leads until the accused was nabbed and positively linked to this incident.

The Provincial Commissioner has also commended the member (investigating officer) for discharging her duties with full determination until the accused was nabbed and subsequently served with a long jail term.
