The police also arrested six men, between the ages of 29 and 46, following an incident of mob justice in the Matlerekeng policing area outside Groblersdal, on Saturday, 24 October.
“Residents gathered to protest against a man who was found in possession of suspected stolen properties at Matlerekeng RDP Section. This suspected person was followed, caught and assaulted with various objects,” Ngoepe added.
