LIMPOPO- The Democratic Alliance in Limpopo has lodged a complaint with the office of the Public Protector after it accused the Fetakgomo -Tubatse Local Municipality of paying R135 million for a building in Burgersfort, which it says is worth less.

According to the DA, the building was previously leased by the municipality for over R2 million per month and was used as the civic center.

Speaking on Capricorn FM’s Progressive Talk on Monday night, DA Limpopo leader Jacques Smalle said the purchase price exceeded the highest valuation requested by the municipality by more than R64 million.
