Police have urged anyone who might have information that could help arrest the suspect to contact their nearest police station.
Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for suspects in two murder cases in the province.
In the first incident, a 63-year-old man was shot and killed in Randburg, north of Johannesburg on Thursday afternoon.
The man, believed to be the Chairperson of a taxi association was gunned down by unknown suspects.
It is alleged that four men driving an Audi A3 stopped alongside the victim’s vehicle and started shooting.
In another incident, a suspect mistakenly shot and killed his friend while fleeing from angry community members.
The suspects robbed a delivery truck in Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.
Police spokesperson, Kay Makhubele says, “The police have launched a manhunt for all these suspects and calling for anyone with the information to call the nearest police station or use 08600 10111 crime stop number.”
