“Sex Education will bring unintended negative consequences” AmaZulu King Zwelithini

LIMPOPO- The AmaZulu King Goodwill Zwelithini rejects sex education in schools. He says too much information about sex at young age will make kids curious. He says that the kids will force themselves on the teachers, both female and male teachers.

The department of education introduced the sex education to ensure that learners do not get confusing and misleading messages on sex, sexuality, gender and relationships. Kids are not being taught on how to have sex.

“It’s not sex education being proposed its sexuality education that is age appropriate. We talking things like consent, my body, gender equality, rape, etc. not ‘how to have sex’ or masterbation. ” anonymous

“Sex education or no sex education, kids will be curious anyway. Sexual material is everywhere.” anonymous

There are so many sex materials everywhere and most of the kids have freedom to even search some information about sex. They know more than what they are being taught in school.

It is very vital that kids have the sex education in schools because they need to know more about their bodies and sexuality at young age so they can make better decisions in future. It also help them to be alert when one tries to take advantage of them.
