Magangeni’s teacher takes the National Teaching Award, Florance Bekwa.

LIMPOPO- Florance Bekwa an educator at Magangeni Primary School brings another teaching award home. She took the first position in the provincial awards in 2019, she now took another one in National Teaching Awards.

Florance Bekwa is a born teacher, she started her teaching career without qualifications at Bundle of Joy Christian school in 2007, she then enrolled for BEd at Unisa in 2009. She is an honors graduate and she enrolled for her Masters.
She started Spelling Bee classes where most of their learners enrolled and their performances are improving. She produced Hlulani Baloyi who is representing South Africa in National Spelling Bee competition.

“Ma’am Bekwa is a woman with big brains, she is very intelligent and if it wasn’t because of her I wont be speaking this kind of English. i knew that she was going to win this award. ” said one of her students
“Children needs us as teachers to help them live quality lives. As you see in our country most places are poverty stricken, they need us teachers to motivate and elevate them. Changing one child is changing one household” said Florance Bekwa

She is more than a teacher to her children and also a motivator to other teachers out there. Florance Bekwa is a visionary leader that produces best products and we need more teacher like her. The future of our children is in good hands.
